30 pm PRIMARY FUNCTION This position is accountable for performing inspection of materials, parts, and complete circuit breakers for compliance with engineering, manufacturing, quality and International Standards Organization specificationsI
Essential Functions:
Inspects materials, parts, and complete circuit breakers for conformance with Client, Underwriters Laboratory and industry procedures, specifications, and quality standardsInterpret blueprints, symbols and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications for measurement feasibilityPerforms incoming and in process inspection measurements using both complex equipment such as CMM KEYENCE, Vision system KEYENCE, Instron Machine, Optical comparator, and basic hand tools such as calipers, pin gauges, height indicatorsPrepares, records, and reports data to Supervisor and/or EngineersMay investigate and determine cause of defective parts, units, or processesAdjusts and calibrates test and production equipmentGResponds to requests for assistance with quality issues and problemsInitiates disposition of rejected materials, parts, or devicesEffectively use computers, software, and automation systems as required in performance of assigned duties.QUALIFICATIONS We know skills and competencies show up in many ways and can be based on your life experienceIf you do not necessarily meet all the requirements that are listed, we still encourage you to apply for the positionThis job might be for you if Undergraduate degree/Higher educationExperience within manufacturing Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalentDemonstrated analytical skills with data, problem resolutionExcellent skills in leadership, communication both verbal and written, and attention to detailStrong desire to work with people, on the manufacturing floor and with customer interface, excellent follow-up, and execution skillsCandidate should have good dexterity in both hands, excellent attention to detail and focus on ensuring qualityCandidate should be able to stand regularly for an 8(+)hour shiftCandidate should be a quick learner able to apply themselves across multiple roles both internal to Missouri and supporting corporate initiatives related to customer satisfaction and quality.
